🏆 Best Verge 2022 — School Category

Winners of eThekwini's Best Verge competition

Apple Jacks Pre-School took first place in the school category of eThekwini Municipality's Best Verge competition for 2022, judged on how well adopted verges are planted, cleared and cared for through the year.

The school adopted the verge along Montclair Road through the municipality's Adopt a Verge programme, and our staff keep it mowed, weeded and planted so the whole neighbourhood — not just our families — enjoys a tidy, green street. It is also a living lesson for the children in caring for the place they live in.
